Where this comes from, and where it could be wrong
Every figure is read from Affinity Water's own charges scheme for 2026/27, twice, and only published where both readings agreed. Your actual bill depends on how much water you use and whether you have a meter, which is why the calculator on the charges page does the arithmetic.
Worth knowing about Affinity Water
The rateable value rate is printed for the Folkestone and Dover area.
The WaterSure cap in this region is £292.80. The LIFT social tariff caps at £160.80 with a 40 per cent discount or £108.00 with a 60 per cent discount.
An unmetered sprinkler is £129.20 and an unmetered tap is £34.60.
