Your postcode and your figures never leave this browser. If I cannot work out what you mean, those words are sent to be classified, and a bill photo goes only if you send one and confirm it. Nothing is stored either way. How that works.

Relief that exists in Northern Ireland

  • Rates Housing Benefit and Rate Relief. Means tested help for low income households not on Universal Credit. Homeowners apply through Land and Property Services, tenants through the Housing Executive.
  • Rate Rebate. For people entitled to Universal Credit. Claimed online through Land and Property Services, backdated at most three months.
  • Lone Pensioner Allowance. 20 per cent off for ratepayers aged 70 or over living alone. Not means tested.
  • Disabled Persons Allowance. 25 per cent off where the home is adapted for a resident with a disability. Not affected by income or savings.

Where this comes from, and where it could be wrong

The poundage is Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon's combined regional and district rate for 2026/27, and the bills above are that poundage applied to each capital value, with the £400,000.00 cap in place. The arithmetic is reproduced from the Rates Order as the site builds.

What could be wrong. This is the standard bill before any relief, and reliefs like the Lone Pensioner Allowance or the Disabled Person's Allowance come off it. Your home's capital value is the one on your rates bill, valued as at January 2005, not today's price.
